What is Living as Light?

Hasn’t it been an incredibly rich and abundant week?
The Eclipse window has certainly cleared away a lot of debris for many people.
The rain we have been enjoying in the South West of England has certainly given life to nature. Have you noticed how vibrant and expansive the vegetation around you is?
The joy of waking up each morning fills my heart with gratitude and appreciation. There is so much to be grateful for each day. The sound of bird song that reaches my ears, the cool morning breeze that reminds me of the turning of the wheel, and the sheer bliss of my bare feet kissing the earth as I greet her and the Sun, and anchor myself on this abundant planet. Wow!
I cannot imagine anything more exquisite right now than to be alive, joyous, and live my life my way.
I sometimes pinch myself for this magical gift called life. Do you feel something similar?
Childlike wonder.
I recall the times when I was a child and being allowed to go outside once all the chores were done.
The vast, expansive world of nature would greet me with such enthusiasm; maybe it was a reflection of my own enthusiasm. I hated being indoors all day. Especially when there was so much activity in the natural world waiting to be witnessed and to be immersed in.
Nature and reading were my happiest states of being. And it was in those precious moments that I would conjure up my own adventures. I was often visiting faraway places, where the vegetation and landscape were far richer than the long, narrow gardens of terraced houses we grew up in, which had merged into one large place for the local neighbourhood children to hang out together.
I didn’t have the greatest social skills, as I was bullied throughout my school years, and we were not allowed to have friends over. Whether that was culture or my parents’ way of life, I don’t know.
Striking up a conversation about something trivial with a classmate was not part of my vocabulary either. In my earlier years, I was mostly a tomboy, as that identity offered a sense of freedom. I valued meaningful conversations that allowed the inquisitive part of me to come to play, and things that made me laugh.
I saw life through an expansive lens where there was authenticity, balance, and joy. Where people would communicate their differences, and have compassion and understanding toward each other.
Maybe that was a dream of a world that was already in my consciousness, waiting to be materialised, but many people had not yet tapped into this.
What has this got to do with Living as Light, you ask?
When we Live as Light, we are living from a frequency that is in alignment with the Divine/the Universe. It is not enmeshed in identities, drama, or chaos, as it is a gentle ebb and flow of nature. It’s sacred and pure, and we dance in the cosmic womb of love and beauty.
What does that mean?
It means when we are taking healthy control of the way we choose to live and be, from the light of us, rather than the shadow, life flows easily and effortlessly.
The shadow is not who we are. We are born of love, despite our upbringing and the injustices endured. We have always been a spark of light, that which is pure love.
During childhood, we became separated from our core being. That infinite light of us that is so incredibly beautiful, and so rich in creativity and passion.
We were suppressed from a world that demanded conformity, control, and slavery.
We unconsciously became pawns in a game that took away our voice, our rights, our liberty, our dignity, our beauty, our authenticity, and our freedom of choice.
We were enslaved in a system that was so intelligent, it made us believe that we were poor, rather than abundant. It programmed us into believing we didn’t have the skills, intelligence, or wisdom to contribute to the betterment of our community, economy, and planet. It programmed us into believing that we had to follow a narrow path, pre-designed by a narrative, that would gently and silently hook into our thoughts and lives through very clever subliminal marketing tools.
Separation and disconnect.
We were separated by gender, skin colour, religion, appearance, and status, and we fought ever harder to reclaim what we could tangibly relate to.
We unconsciously disconnected from our Universal heart and handed over our freedom to the systems and identities that were suggesting and enacting many scenarios to survive.
But that was never meant to be the real plan.
Our Ancestors fought for something so incredibly sacred to be birthed on earth, that would flourish and enrich the lives of their future generations, and be in alignment with Universal law.
And many people have forgotten this.
Dreaming.
Yet, when we remember we all have the capacity to #bethechange and birth the dream of our Ancestors and create a brighter future, despite the atrocities we see.
How?
By releasing the shadow that controls us and expanding into the light that birthed us. The Indigenous Peoples mastered the Art of Dreaming, as they have a deep relationship with nature. They hear the whispers of the wind and live in alignment with the cycles of nature with great reverence and respect.
As a child, I knew how to dream. My relationship with nature and the cosmos is sacred. Through dreaming, I materialised my needs, even when I didn't have a job.
When we are in this place, we are in alignment, and miracles happen daily, and our needs are met.
We are no longer chasing, no longer in lack, no longer in panic, and no longer controlled or constricted. Instead, we are calm and deeply rooted in our core, answering only to the impulses of our body.
Living as Light, a way of being.
Living as Light is evident in the world we live in. Some people are quietly content
and only answer to what is true and alive within them. They are peaceful, not seeking anything as they are immersed in the graceful unfolding of life. Contentment comes from inner peace and trusting the Universe has got our back.
We are the dreamers, and there is no room for lack. For we have transmuted our shadow, wounding, and pain, and we are in resonance with the frequency of pure love.
Living as Light invites us to birth a new way of being, the one we dreamed of as children, the one we are still dreaming of, for all to thrive and prosper, and live joyfully and peacefully.
Isn’t this a beautiful way of being?
Living as Light is our birthright, and we can reclaim our power at any given moment.
I’ve invested, trained, and worked in the field of transformational health and well-being for over 20 years. During this time, I have immersed myself in many practices that allowed me to expand my light and help others unlock their power, voice, and potential to redesign their lives from the heart of their being.
It's a joy to witness their transformation.
Are you ready to reclaim your power, voice, and unlock your potential?
With love and appreciation,
Kamaljit
